WeShip Express – NAWR Membership Program


America’s progressive wine retailers require both logistical excellence and professional trade representation. Together, the National Association of Wine Retailers and WeShip Express provide these important tools and services.

DETAILS OF THE WESHIP/NAWR MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
New WeShip Express clients are offered a subsidized 1-year membership in NAWR.

At the end of the 12 months, retailers may continue NAWR membership at the regular membership levels of their choice.

Wine retailers that become members of NAWR via the WeShip Membership Program have all the same rights and benefits as any other NAWR members:

-Access to all Association communications and alerts
-Access to the NAWR FedEx discounted shipping rates
-Access to all other member benefits
-Invitation to the annual NAWR Wine Retailer Summit

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NAWR
The National Association of Wine Retailers (NAWR) is the only trade association advocating for increased access to the national wine marketplace for wine retailers. NAWR is particularly focused on opening more states for explicitly legal interstate shipping rights. NAWR also advocates for the right of retailers to purchase inventory directly from producers located anywhere in the country. NAWR is also involved in various initiatives that benefit retailers, such as active opposition to tariffs as well as providing balanced information on the question of alcohol consumption and health. To achieve these aims, NAWR uses lobbying, litigation, and education of the trade and regulatory community, as well as press outreach.

NAWR also funds and operates WineFreedom.org, a consumer-facing organization that educates consumers on their rights and provides them with the tools to help influence lawmakers to support consumer and retailer-friendly laws and legislation.
